elegance; she blends of sophistication and romance with a hint of nostalgia. Megan chose to leave her corporate career in 1989 and pursue her "heart
work" of designing and creating beautiful wedding and evening gowns. Designer at
Heart is a size-friendly service with two locations: Menlo Park, California, and Capitola,
California. For an uninterrupted consultation, Megan meets with clients by appointment.
Designer at Heart offers two design services to suit your personal
needs: custom design, where a one-of-a-kind gown is designed and created for you; and
collection design, where you may choose from one of Megan's designs, and then the gown is
made to your specifications. Included in the collection are a variety of wedding and
evening gowns. For her custom design, please allow a minimum of six to nine months for
this detailed creation process. Prices start at $1200 (plus materials); the average cost
is $1750. For her signature collection-where you choose from one of her designs and your
gown is made to order with your chosen details-the cost ranges from $995 to $1795, with an
average cost of $1200. Many clients choose from the evening gown collection. These gowns
are perfect for an informal or second wedding. Prices range from $250 to $500.
Beautiful shawls, veils, hats, and vintage jewelry are also available to
